Advice on parcel awaiting collection
How can we get buyers to actually go to the post office and pick up their parcels. I have one that on the 18th December he contacted me that his parcel was at the post office and wasn’t delivered. I said to either contact his post office to get it redelivered. go onto the Royal Mail website and again organise for redelivery OR physically go in and pick it up. He has now opened up an A-Z case against me for not getting his parcel and even stated in the message that it was sent back because Royal Mail didn’t deliver it. The last message I sent to him on the 19th December was the above heard nothing back until this morning almost 3 months later. Have another one that 2 weeks ago again the parcel is at the post office and I told her again the above 3 options and she is now opened up a A-Z against me cause she can’t be bothered organising redelivery nor go to the post office to get her parcel. I have even asked both of them what the best day is and I would organise the online Royal Mail to redeliver as I’m in Australia. But neither can be bothered yet now I have 2 A-Z claims opened up. What could I have done better to solve both of these not opening up cases? Appreciate any help.

Are you sure the buyers received /saw your response messages? The Amazon messaging system is really appalling - buyers often do not receive messages (not least because now they can opt out of getting seller messages
I suppose the best option would have been to just go ahead and arrange the re-delivery in the hopes that the buyers would be in, or deliver to a neighbour.
Tbh other than trying to get Amazon SS to contact the buyers or risking a phone call to them (another fgs - against Amz rules) there is not much that you can do.
Will you defend the A-Zs? Do attach links / screen shots of the emails if you do.

Yes on both occasions I contacted SS and asked if someone could ring them to advise. I have fought the first one as its just not fair that he admits the parcel was there and just couldn’t be bothered to pick it up so 3 months later opens a case up. I’m just seeking what more I could have done to stop this. He did not contact me again from the 19th Dec until now not one message to ask if I could either refund or help just an A-Z. Seems a little unfair to me.

After 30 days Royal Mail will send back to seller if a return address is on packet, if not it gos to Belfast Royal Mail office, never to be seen again, I know because I lost I pod as buyer never picked it up after me sending loads of emails , return address was told fell off lol,
