Amazon suspended my account and keep funds on hold

Hello dears, need your advice, I received this message from amazon seller verification:

"Dear Mr. Skribovsky,

My name is Alex, and I am a member of the Verification team. The Amazon UK Managing Director Doug Gurr received your email and I am responding on his behalf.

Your account has failed our verification process. As a result, you can no longer sell on any of Amazon’s European marketplaces. This decision is final and not subject to appeal.

You can access your Seller Central account for the next 40 days. After this time, you will not have access to Seller Central, including your financial reports.

If you have funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer. Please contact payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk if you have questions about funds.

Within the next 30 days, please create a removal order in Seller Central for any items stored in Amazon’s fulfillment centres (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/ssof/knights/items-list.html). You can choose to dispose of this inventory or have it returned to you.

If you do not create a removal order within the next 30 days, your items might be disposed of in accordance with Amazon policy.

  • My concern is about 2 things: 1. Will they return the money and how should I act on this (write them an email after 90 days or call)? 2. Why they block the access to the seller central after 40 days, and how should I go on this because I will have no access to my balances.

Little we can do as you have provided no information whatsoever. Any idea why you failed verification?

Sorry to hear but whatever it is, you have failed verification and you have already escalated the issue to Managing Director level.

The last remaining option is jeff@amazon.com but I see no reason why they would overturn the decision.

  1. Will they return the money and how should I act on this (write them an email after 90 days or call)? - They said they would pay it so nothing for you to do unless they don’t send it in which case you should contact them on the email provided

  2. Why they block the access to the seller central after 40 days, and how should I go on this because I will have no access to my balances.- No idea, they have their own rules but it does seem strange

What I am asking guys, about your experience:

  1. Is there a chance they don’t return the funds, because of any reason even if they write they will.
  2. Why they need to clock the access to the selling account in 40 days, I tried to look for it online but didn’t find it. How I will be able to follow my account if they block my access…

Look at the message above, I didn’t pass the verification as an individual seller.

My account was suspended on July 10, 2017. Over one year ago. I received the following message from Amazon.

Hello,

Your current sales volumes are not supported by buyer feedback or an established sales history. As a result, we are reviewing your Amazon.co.uk seller account. During this review, you may not sell on Amazon.co.uk. Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we review it. If you have any open orders, please ship them.

For unknown reasons to me, I was unable to pass verification and on October 12, 2017. I received another message from Amazon telling me that I can not longer sell on Amazon.

Dear Seller,

We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.

Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account.

I contacted Amazon on the Payment investigate mail on the 17th of May. I was told that they are going to investigate.

I sent other messages after and my messages are being ignore.

My last sale was over a year ago. I shipped everything and A to Z and any other trouble was taken care of.

The account was suspended over a year ago and I have not received any message from Amazon stating what’s the reason for holding the fund.

Anyway to get answer for this kind of problem? Is there any phone number I can contact someone about this problem?

Sorry to hear that. And mine was also closed due to the failure of verification.
In my case, Amazon didn’t release the funds after 90 days, until I wrote to the Payments Team.
Fortunately, they didn’t remove my access to my ASC. But I heard that some sellers were blocked from logging in. So what they can do is to wait for the funds to hit their bank account without any sign in advance. No one knows how much will be left after 90 days.
