Error message:5461: You may not create new ASINs for this brand xxxxx
Hi there,
I have tried to listing the product and received this message.
Anyone have the same problem?
How do you fix it? I have register the brand with Amazon and it been approved.
I have GTIN with GS1 and now I know we have to put EAN instead of GTIN done all that.
Is this the next step I have to do? But it look like this form is for distributor aka someone want to sell my product right? but its only me selling this product? It very confusing.

according to your post 3 days ago, you have a UK trademark but hadn’t applied for Brand Registry on amazon
Have you done that now ?
and was it Brand Registry or Brand Approval you applied for ?

On the form you should be able to say you are affiliated to the brand and you can upload a LOA. I would have thought if you are the brand owner then you could write yourself a LOA to say you approve yourself.
Have you checked that the brand you are entering is exactly the same as the one registered.

I just realised the Brand Registry been approved since March.
in the past I think the spelt wasn’t the same in GS1 but I just recently changed it a few hours ago with GS1…
Did you have to do this process?
‘‘Selling application for Catalogue Authorisation’’ to be able to get ASIN number from amazon?
I think this is the next step I have to do right?
