Difficulty Listing New items due to new apparel guidelines
I am having a lot of problems adding new products as since the new apparell guidelines came out. I choose the relevant options provided by the drop down menu but keep getting lots of errors.
I have also tried to edit listings directly in seller central but it seems to not like any of the values that are also provided in the drop down menu on the template. It says that the values are invalid despite the fact that these were the ones in the drop down box.
Im at my wits end. Has anyone had any success with this.

i am totally confused and keep getting the same…even the chat line dosn’t help as they dont seem to know what is needed anyway… they said upload it all on an excel sheet, but we still don’t know what to put on the sheet and with over a 1000 products this will take months… i may end up removing all my textile products if this keeps up which is most of my lines… no other platform has all this hassle…just to list an item

I have had some success. Listed some this week in seller central, I haven’t done an upload for a few weeks.
The Age Range Description drop down box is not correct. For example I sell Kids clothes and the drop down says it should be Kid but in fact it has to be Kids.
Previously if you were listing size variations it was just asking for Apparel Size Value but now you have to set both Size and Apparel Size Value which is very confusing.
I have an example of what I listed this week below in Seller central. Nothing to the right of the screenshot is set. This works and the listing is active.

You have the value 4 in the “Apparel Size Value” and you also have the value 4 in the “Apparel Size To Range”. If you want to create an age range of 3-4 then you must have the value 3 in “Apparel Size Value” and the value 4 in “Apparel Size To Range”. Hope this makes sense.

I had this issue but it has now developed into non of the listings saving after you have confirmed after adding all the items. Anybody else had this?

Trying to list new items is now a complete nightmare!
I have tried at least 20 times and have hit a brick wall on every occasion. When I put in variations for 1-2 Years and 2-3 Years it then gives me 4 variations instead of 2 and then asks for things that are totally irrelevant for children’s clothing.
Anyone know where I can get a step by step guide? I’m sure I am not the only one having these issues.

Hi Smiley, thanks for you input. I seem to be stuck at the first hurdle with parent items.
I have five tees, each with a variety of sizes. So my plan was to create five parents - one for each colour.
So - trying to get amazon to answer this query has gotten me stumped already. If I input all five sizes in both it creates 25 variations (I think it should be 5 - 1 colour, 5 sizes) . However, trying to get clarification on what should go where. Amazon have advised they should both be blank - but then it wont let me create any variations.
Any advice would be great
