Necessary documents for selling in italy
Hi,
I am a new seller and want to sell type c USB cables on FBA Italy. just want to confirm which documents i need instead CE certification for selling?
OR data cables need approval from Amazon?

All Data cables especially USB/Charging cables require EU CE Certification, including an EU declaration of conformity for sale within the EU.

I don’t work for Amazon this is a Sellers forum, you will need to contact Seller Support via Seller Central, if the document is a genuine EU Declaration of Conformity it should be accepted , if it is from a Chinese manufactrurer it is highly unlikely it will be accepted and is likely to not be a genuine CE marked product.

Thanks a lot. my manufacturer is from China i.e AliBaba and providing CE certification but they dont know about DOC. should i proceed or just give up on this step?

You will find with most Chinese manufacturers sourced from AliBaba the product is not true EU CE marked it is marked CE but this despite being an identical logo to CE it’s actually “China Export” logo. In addition Amazon do not accept Chinese CE Certification as it’s generally fake and not EU Certified without a DOC also you will struggle to list this product on Amazon.

It’s better to get it right from the outset, as any profit made can be massively wiped out by an Amazon ASIN block or suspension with funds and goods held over a period of time.
