Cannot be stickerless, commingled for our own brand products

Please can any one help as we are not getting anywhere with Amazon help.
We manufacture our own games and have been sending our products to FBA for years yet today we went to replenish the FBA stock and nearly all of our products are now saying “Cannot be stickerless, commingled
The error condition cannot be corrected from here. This product must be removed from this shipment plan. You can send in new inventory by creating a new listing for this product that requires product labels.”

We do not want to put Amazons stickers on all of our products, we do not have the time or man power to label 400 products each week +
Has any one else had this problem and found a way round it? Or know why this is happening all of a sudden, we dont want our pocket games ruined with extra stickers on them either.

Its a change of policy on some categories to ensure that goods are more traceable (The barcodes applied are to an individual rather than commingled from all retailers). Amazon can sticker the goods for 15p per item as an alternative. We sticker ourselves where we can, but if there is a back-log we use Amazon.

There is no way around it.

I am sorry but unfortunately, there is no way how to get around the requirement. Amazon is now often requiring sellers to use the FNSKU barcodes to track their FBA inventory in particular categories.

It’s because they want to prevent the units from being mixed together and ensure that genuine and safe items are sold on their site, especially a few months before Christmas.

They are making the rules stricter for everyone and the only option is to comply.

The FNSKU labels will also help you prevent Customer Product Condition Complaints and other similar issues.

We received an email last week stating that all products sold in the toys & games categories as of the 30th of September would now need Amazon barcodes and could no longer be commingled.

You’re not alone in this. all sellers of toys and games are in the same boat. It’s up to you and your business to decide whether continuing to sell via FBA is worth the extra work/cost, but unfortunately there’s no way around it.

I send 400-500 items a week into Amazon takes me max of 3hrs to label them.

You could put each game in a polybag and apply the label to that instead, leaving the box protected.

Hi there this started on Sunday. I was also confused. We have always stickered All products as we are selling 1700 plus items monthly. Takes a few hrs but we’ll worth not paying amazon for this.

I am currently re labelling 2000 units of private label because of this there is now way around it - Go to setting - Amazon Fulfilment setting(this is your account settings top right corner seller central) change from manufacturer to Amazon barcarode (the problem is this setting) then using the same ASINS / EANS you will need to go to add product and create new listings which really is only new SKU’S and new “Amazon Barcodes” you reviews and all stay no changes happen to actual listing but yeah there is no other way

We have always had to label our products, even though they are our own brands and on occasions, been stopped from sending in two sku’s in the same shipment. We also GS1 barcode them all, only for Amazon to sticker their own barcode directly on top, obscuring the GS1. I’m quite literate too, yet pre-Amazon had never come across the word “commingled”, probably the most ridiculous term in existence worldwide. My only advice is to stick the Amazon’s rules, as ridiculous as they can be. For all of it’s good attributes, Amazon is utterly inflexible and any attempts to work around their framework will surely fail. It is what it is.

We have the same issue, and are quite happy to apply Amazon labels to the prodcuts they direct us to, but what they are now saying is that we have to create a new listing with an new SKU in order to do this. I can;t do that because the IT system we use cannot have more than one SKU with the same barcode -. I have tried explaining this to Amazon but they keep saying the same thing. Has anyone else had to create a new listing and a new SKU?

I’ve always choose stickered whenever possible, and I don’t know why anyone in their right mind wouldn’t. With all the hi-jackers and knock-off merchants the last thing you want is your customers getting someone else’s inventory. However, much inconvenience it may be it’s just not worth the risk to your reputation and your account to go with commingled.

Regarding your games being ruined with extra stickers, Amazon policy says that the labels must be easy to remove by the customer.
