Amazon account suspended without any reason due to reimbursment claim initiated by Amazon

Our amazon account has been suspended, have already tried to appeal but still nothing

It shows as being suspended due to reimbursment claims which we have not been aware about since 2018.

Has anyone been through this before? We did ship out stock to Amazon FBA back in 2018 and the stock was damaged by Amazon FBA warehouse however since then we have not done anything but on 14/1/21 the reimbursment claims were filed by someone, not us and our account was suspended.

I have tried to email the directors office, our amazon account manager and the appeals email…still nothing.

We bought stock from a UK retailer but that was back in 2017 to sell on Amazon on an open listing (this was amazon branded stock)

Can anyone provide any advice or help?

This was the last response from amazon:
We reviewed the information you provided and completed the review of your account. We have decided not to reactivate your account due to violations of our FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Reimbursement Policy. Funds will remain blocked and you may appeal for funds after 90 days by writing to disbursement-appeals@amazon.XX

We may not respond to further emails regarding the status of your account.

It’d be helpful to expand on this a little. Where did you get that date from - does the reimbursement request show in your account or did Amazon give you that date? Who has access to your account aside from you? Do you use any software that could’ve made the claim?

So this claim in January was for a shipment you sent in? How would someone who had hacked your account have the invoices needed to do a shipment reconcile?

I’ve tried to contact amazon to get my seller account suspension lifted, no updates or replies at all.

I have submitted an appeal with all the relevant documents. Amazon have not responded to that appeal and it’s been over a week already.
