New FBA Seller Issue
I’m reaching out regarding an issue with my first shipment to Amazon under an Individual selling account. During an initial conversation with customer support via online chat, I was informed that Individual accounts are eligible for the FBA New Seller Incentive. Based on that information, I proceeded to send my first shipment. However, after the shipment was sent, I noticed that my products do not appear on the FBA New Seller Incentive dashboard. When I contacted customer support a second time, I was told that Individual account holders are not eligible for the incentive and that I would be charged for FBA services.I would appreciate clarification on this matter, as the conflicting information led me to make a decision under the wrong assumption. Is there any way to resolve this or apply the incentive retroactively?Thank you for your assistance.

Sorry to say, the individual plan will not be eligible for the FBA benefits. See below which outlines the terms for these incentives.
On this link: New Seller Incentives on the Programme Overview section, states the following:
..."Through New Seller Incentives, new sellers on Amazon’s Professional selling plan..."
Also on the New Seller Incentives Terms and Conditions...
New Seller Incentives Programme overview:
"The New Seller Incentives Programme is a suite of benefits focused on assisting new Amazon Professional sellers with their selling."
and here too...New Seller Incentives eligibility guide (PDF)
..."To qualify for NSI (new seller incentives) you must be a seller enrolled in Amazon's professional plan..."
Also an individual plan is suggested for those that just want to sell less than 35 units each month and if you sell over that, you may find a professional plan more beneficial for you.

If you are selling new stock and presume you are if sending it into fba then you need to be registered as a business.
The individual and professional plan are imaterial here although as stated if your looking to shift 35+ items a month it becomes benificial to be on the pro plan. Probably best to wait until you get that level of sales though as amazon will charge you £30 a month for the privelidge.

You say Individual ACCOUNT, but that is not the right account for selling new goods (ONLY for selling off own personal second-hand items), you need a BUSINESS Seller Account, and be registered with HMRC as self-employed. The Individual ACCOUNT is NOT the same as individual selling PLAN, you need to be on the professional plan @£30 a month.
Unfortunately Seller Support frequently give wrong advice, especially relating to the different account types and selling plans.
