Lost LTL FBA Shipment to KTW1 (Poland) - Kuehne Nagel

I wonder if anyone has experienced similar or has any advice.

We sent 2 pallets LTL via Partnered Carrier Program, in mid December, to Germany. Amazon selected FC KTW1 which is in Poland, bizarrely, and Kuehne Hagel to transport it. We filled in all the necessary paperwork, and the collection process went smoothly.

We’d been checking the progress of the pallets and were relieved when Kuehne Nagel tracking showed the shipment as delivered on 22/12/20 - we were pleased that they weren’t caught in the lorry park on the M20 and had cleared the border well before the New Year.

However, we heard nothing else - the shipment is still “IN TRANSIT” on Amazon, and so nothing’s checked in. We contacted Amazon at the start of the year, but have heard nothing back til today when they are demanding to see the Bill of Lading with an Amazon stamp on it. I gather this is the document that Amazon stamp when they receive a delivery into their FCs.

My point is that we aren’t Kuehne Nagel’s customers, Amazon is. We booked the pallet through Amazon, Amazon select the partner they use to transport the shipment, and Amazon pay that company, taking the money off us later. We have had no contact with Kuehne Nagel whatsoever - the pallets were collected by a third party and entered the K+N system in Nottingham. As we aren’t K+N’s customers, we don’t get the Bill of Lading from them. I have contacted K+N to ask for it, but I’m not sure they will do so. In which case how do I prove delivery? I’ve also responded to Amazon that we aren’t K+N’s customer, and that we don’t have the Bill of Lading.

Amazon have kindly given us 48 hours to come up with the Bill of Lading before they close the case and will not reopen once closed.

This is 1000 units of our stock, what on earth do we do next?

Please, if anyone has any advice it will be received gratefully.
