Re-verification process - Company Registration Number
I am trying to do re-verification, and Amazon is asking for my Company Registration Number. What is the Number? I live in a state where there is no business license. Is this my Federal EIN? or maybe my state Entity Identification Number? I spoke with someone at Amazon who opened a case, but they could not answer my question. I was told I would get an email and be able to correspond with someone from Amazon but this has not happened. I am at a loss. Please help! @Cooper_Amazon

If you are a individual seller or a sole proprietor LLC, you would use your SS#.
Do you file your taxes as an individual using your SS# and a schedule c for business? - If yes, use SS#.
Do you file your business separate from you individual taxes with an EIN? - If yes, use EIN.
What name appears on the 1099K that Amazon provides you? - Your personal name = SS# / Your business name = EIN# ... Basically, is 1099K SS# or EIN#?
Either way the name and address much match on the documents provided.
All of the above are ways to determine which number you will need to use.
