Delivery extensions set by Amazon
I am on a painful chat with Seller Support (they are who seem to be talking to several people therefore I had to wait a good 5 minutes for any answer) who say that you have to have 100% not to have any extensions. Obviously with all these extensions I lose lots of buy boxes. Customer service told me to continue like I do and one day I will be rewarded, but they can't disappoint customers. If someone buys something from me today, they will probably get it on Saturday or Monday but Amazon tells them Thursday next week at the earliest. My performance is improving but my padding is getting worse.
Is that correct?

This is absurd. In a way it might be better if the seller support staff member is right, because at least then it will apply to all your competitors as well.
That obviously does nothing for the people paying the premium shipping because they don't think they'll get it in time, but at least it puts everyone on an even field.

That's what I was afraid of :(
So the question becomes if this is another case of Amazon inconsistently applying their rules, or if the seller support person was up to their usual standard.
There have been a few threads lately talking about how their FBA listings have been getting delivery padded, so they might be applying it to Prime as well, at least where third party sellers are concerned.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a way of getting around that anti-competitive behaviour ruling going against them for giving preferential treatment to Prime lisitngs.
