Brand name hacked and unrelated reviews?!
I’ve had a listing whereby the brand name has been changed and I can’t do anything about it (when trying to edit it, it says only the person who made that change is able to edit). The listing has had the brand name changed several times now but now the reviews of my product (a baby swing seat) display reviews of unrelated products of things like teddies and stickers by that brand name. They’ve even changed the colour of my product to JINJINYI-831uk1. How can this happen and can I do anything about it?!
And now I can’t even edit my own listing as it says:
- You need approval to list this brand.
- Refurbished condition
- You cannot list the product in this condition.
What is going on? I don’t understand.

If you own the brand and created the listing, you need to contact brand registry. This happened to me and they eventually sorted it.

Had this ourselves with the number 1 product in woodburner gloves, we created the listing in 2012, and had over 10k reviews. Chineese company changed the brand to their own, and then had us thrown off the listing. As much as we tried with Amazon they were not interested, so not only did they hijack the listing, we got policy violations for listing against it, even though they only started selling on 2020 which was 8 years after the listing was created.
Looking at the listing now, the rating has gone down 2 stars, and the price has doubled as they have no competion on the listing.
