Sudden ID Verification
I have been selling on Amazon for a while and remember verifying my account with ID years ago, however, they are asking again now, and I need to upload photos/scans of the ID document. I want to make sure I upload the correct ones so I would appreciate any help.
I have 3 different ID documents I could use. The one they already have on file/the ID number, etc they are asking to provide proof for is an Eu ID card. I can simply upload it, but I am worried that a)it will expire in a year b) the address on it is my old address that won’t match with the current info.
It looks like I have an option of editing the identity info and uploading the proof. Considering the above, should I do so if my other options are:
EU passport without address info. If so, they are asking for ‘both sides’ of the document. With a paper passport, which page/side would be considered by them the ‘other side’? The cover of the passport?
Or alternatively, I have a UK Provisional Driving Licence. It has the current address on it and is UK gov document, but it’s only provisional licence.
Which would be the best option?
I am afraid to mess anything up, since I heard how ruthless and confusing the verifications rejections can be, so I would appreciate any advice. Thank you

Lots of us well established sellers have been re-verified in the last 2 weeks.Just upload whatever document they are asking.Passport has 2 detail pages upload those not front or back. Also have your tax docs ready they will ask for those after verifying id.

Re-Activation these days is common, dont worry at all. Upload your passport copy (Face Photo ID page with passport number details).
If your address change, than it is not an issue, Amazon will ask you load new address utility bills, than upload new address Utility Bill, your account will be successfully re-activated.

Good luck - I have been trying to get this sorted for almost 2 weeks now.
My disbursement of the 27th May did not occur with no explanation. I therefore made a manual request. The next day I was asked to supply copy of my passport for ID verification. I supplied the same day.
On 1st June I was told it was accepted so I again asked for a manual disbursement on the 2nd June. It did not happen. I tried again on the 4th June. Again it did not happen
I contacted Customer Services who told me my bank account needed to be verified (I had had no email or message requesting this). So I sent a copy of bank statement.
Now today I have been asked to provide proof of ID - they said my HMRC documentation is invalid. Strange as one of the documents they requested ‘Certificate of Registration for VAT’ is the same one I supplied them years ago.and another of the allowed proof of ID documents was ‘Copy of bank statement’ which I had only supplied 2 days ago.
Now some of my documents are in both my personal name and business name (like the Certificate of Registration for VAT), my business bank account is in my business name and my utility bills are in my personal name as I work from home. They all have the exact same address though. However, it seems whoever they employ to check the details cannot grasp the basic idea that sometimes the name might be different for these reasons.

I had this last week. Uploaded image of passport. 3 days later received email stating verification has been completed.
Make sure ID details match you details in Amazon exactly, any discrepancies and it is likely to reject the document.
