Unable to find an ASIN if a product variation is out of stock

Unable to find an ASIN if a product variation is out of stock

Hi all,

When i go to list a product that has a number of variations (such as a Samsung Tablet. Colour, Storage Size, WiFi/LTE etc), if one variation is out of stock, i am unable to select the variation to get the ASIN and list my own.

If I cannot select the variation to find the ASIN, how do i list one as in stock?

Am i missing a trick here?

If its out of stock you will not usually be able to find the listing on the live Amazon site to add to, you need to access it from Seller Central home page - click on the 3 horizontal lines top left of the screen, then select Catalogue, followed by Add Product, and use the search there where you can search by description or by barcode.
