All our accounts Deactivated - Counterfeit complaint our invoice is rejected because it is over 12 months old
Hi
We are a long standing Amazon seller with high performance levels
Amazon received a Counterfeit complaint and immediately closed us down throughout Europe with no prior communication
In this case, we bought the stock directly from the manufacturer, Belkin, facilitated by their distributor, Westcoast in 2018
The invoice evidence was rejected because it was over 12 months old.
We sell mainly computer peripherals and DIY products so a considerable amount of our stock will be bought over 12 months ago was purchased more than 12 months ago
How do we deal with this - we cannot get a more recent invoice since the ASIN has not been re-purchased since 2018
Thanks for any help anyone can give us please
Dean

you won’t get invoices 6/7 yrs old accepted. Your only chance I think is to get the inauthentic claim recinded - was it from a customer?

Counterfeit complaint
I often think Amazin uses this to their advantage to collect data. Especially when third-party sellers have to spend a lifetime producing invoices and jumping through hoops.
Amazon must know that one in a thousand customers clearly has challenges and all too often incorrectly cries fake.
In cases like this, I would hope someone in the managing directors office would have enough common sense to resolve this for you.
Good luck

Good luck to you and I hope you get it sorted out quickly I had a smaller attack like that A Real Madrid mug Amazon closed my French Spanish and German pages down and gave me a warning for the UK site we had to get Real Madrids brand protection to contact Amazon 17 times for it to be fixed which took daily emails lasting over a 6 month period by the time Amazon had sorted it out I had already sold out that was probable the moment that I decided not to sell on any of Amazons Europe sites anymore

Sorry you are going through this difficult phase. Would it possible for you to prove that they are authentic and then admit that they are above 12 months, appeal that you have taken measures to stock and sell units that have been purchased within 12 months?
The appeal needs to demonstrate that you have already taken the measures to prevent any form of complaints.
On a side note, one of the problems with old stock, specially electronics is that we don't get some spare parts and this makes many customers think that this is not a genuine item. Also packaging looks different each series. The other thing is that many electronics may not be compatible with other related units, making it a wasted purchase. May be it is best not to overstock? That said I don't know what kind of a product you are dealing with. Anyway good luck, with an otherwise good selling history, backed by a well thought out business re-modelling and an appeal, you should be back in business soon.
