Product Compliance 2026

I am getting frustrated with this Amazon TIC and submit compliance docs.

I have over 3000 ASINS that are in the Children's Toys: Food and Product Safety Issues section.

Some of them give me the option to select a testing Lab, which I am not paying for as not only are we not the manufacturer, we may only sell 5 or 6 of them a year, and I cant see amazon allowing me to add £50 to the cost of the item...

I also have some that are now giving me the option to upload Photos and compliance documents.

So there is me thinking, great, someone in amazon have used their brain for once and over tuned this stupid testing policy.

So I spent the day as before, taking photos of the packaging and uploading the DOC.

Today, I have received a reply on every single one of them (below)

They have closed my case as I need to use TIC.

What the hell is going on, I do not have an option for this and their own system tells me to upload the docs.

Is this a case of the staff not knowing what's going on?

So far, I have 1590 inactive listings, and the last 3000 will end my selling on here.

Effective September 9, 2025 Amazon has implemented enhanced compliance requirements for Children's Toys on Amazon in the EU/UK. As part of this update, we are closing all existing Children's Toy compliance cases, including your case.

Important Information:

The status of your listings will remain unchanged while you complete the requirements through the updated third-party Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) compliance process as described below.

Hi any update on this nonsense. We are in the same boat. We sell toys which are all compliant to UK and EU law. We have certificates from our manufacturer to prove this. When we click on the submit compliance we get some amatuer search result telling us to submit these to a load of unknown labs around the world to check. In the UK there is only 1 business, SGS. We have used the email provided and had NO reply for 4 weeks. How are we supposed to deal with this nonsene Amazon? @Maja_Amazon @Julia_Amazon @Julia_Amzn @Winston_Amazon @Ash_Amazon @Spencer_Amazon @Sakura_Amazon_ @Abella_Amazon @JiAlex_Amazon @Simon_Amazon @JiAlex_Amazon @Abella_Amazon can you urgently escalate this and get this BIG issue resolved. The whole compliance process is broken

Amazon is transitioning from accepting seller-uploaded compliance documents to requiring independent third-party verification for Children's Toys in the EU/UK effective September 9, 2025 to ensure consistent safety standards across all sellers, and hence this transition is causing confusion.

To proceed further, you must initiate a Test Request Form (TRF) through the Account Health Dashboard and work directly with a TIC provider. The TIC can either conduct new testing or validate existing compliance documents that meet Amazon's policy requirements.

While I understand your concern - you will have to bear all testing costs directly to the service provider. However, if you have existing test reports from approved labs conducted within the last 12 months, you will not have to conduct a full new testing.

If you don't have reports within the last 12 months: You will need to proceed with new testing through an Amazon-approved TIC organization, which involves sending product samples and paying for full testing.

You can refer the Children toy help page policy for more details.
