UPS parcel stuck "available for collection" in depot - lost?

I wonder if some of the experienced FBA sellers could give me some advice - we are ‘Small and Light’ FBA users, but recently sent our first shipment to a ‘regular’ FBA warehouse (BHX4). The shipment in question has been stuck at our local UPS depot showing as “available for collection” in the shipping status.

I know that UPS regularly hold parcels to fit into the delivery slots for the Amazon warehouses, but for small and light that is always done at the depot local to the fulfilment centre. I am wondering whether UPS have managed to lose our parcel.

Does anyone else experience this pattern in shipments, and if it is lost how on earth do I claim when it is technically the Amazon UPS account?

we had one of these last week and then it just changed to delivered a few days later !
they are experiencing delays with small and light at the moment due to the warehouse changes

we had one received last Thursday that still showing as inbound and not for sale - obviously being moved somewhere !

im having a similar problem. UPS have lost it as it didnt arrive in amazon and the shipment is now in “closed” status… does amazon reemburse lost shipment on the way to amazon if i bought shipment through amazon. when i check the tracking link on the ups website it says it has not been delivered…

We’ve sent a few carton shipments via UPS over the last couple of days to BHX4. All show as “Available for Collection” at Tamworth.

We’re having similar scenario - I’ve sent few shipments via UPS and it is stuck for over 11 days now. Showing available for collection at Northampton.

Amazon are snowed under atm i believe - we’ve had a box delivered two weeks ago still showing as inbound

Our shipment eventually got to BXH4 (and was checked in promptly when it arrived). It was an unusual pattern of movement on the Track Shipment updates, there is obviously a run directly from Stanford-le-Hope UPS depot up to the Coventry fulfilment centre. From our experience of small and light, the shipments usual go quickly to a UPS depot adjacent to the destination fulfilment centre and are then collected from there. Good to know what to expect for next time, just slightly alarming for a first experience on a higher-value shipment!
