Unit Count and Carton Count When sending a pallet to FBA

So I’m sending my first ever pallet worth of goods to FBA, the pallet delivery company I’m going to use say I need to give them the FBA number (that’s fine), the unit count and the carton count.

So I assume the unit count is just how many units I’m sending, in this case I’m sending 1936 items of clothing in various sizes so I assume I just tell them 1936 for that?

It will be for 54 boxes worth so I assume that would be the carton count?

All very confusing so far so don’t want to get anything wrong.
