Is there some specific certification I need for my electronics wearable products when sourcing from china?

I want to source wearables like ear buds, watches and charging cables from china to UK. is there some specific certification I need for my products? Is there something I need to know if I want to sell them through Amazon FBA? I am doing it first time, is there any mistakes I need to avoid?

Please help

Goodness, where do we start ?!

First of all you really need to do your research - read Amazon’s own Seller University on here - do NOT rely on the many Youtube ‘get rich quick’ videos.
You’ll need to allow for the cost of getting your items from China to UK, and learn about all the fees associated with FBA
Also, you do realise that there are simply hundreds, probably thousands of other sellers selling the same categories of goods you have chosen - you will be competing with them all, including Chinese sellers who do not need to import them to UK.

Hi,
If you are considering FBA and bringing goods into the European market from China, they will have to conform to European standards.
The majority of electrical equipment etc…will need a CE marking, along with a Declaration of Conformity from the manufacturer.
Other products that don’t require a CE mark will still need to comply with general product safety directives.
Not having the correct certification can cost you a lot of money ie paying for product testing.
This is one reason why Chinese invoices are rarely accepted and I would not order anything until you have passed verification.
New sellers often have a random 3 ASIN check and if their invoices and documentation are not approved they will have their stock stranded unable to be returned as possibly counterfeit and unable to sell.
Use authorised and approved suppliers and manufacturers and request product samples to compare quality, steering clear of Alibaba and the suchlike.
Also brush up on Amazon policies and guidelines
Finally as you are planning on storing goods in the UK make sure you comply with any Vat requirements.

Good luck
