Reference price is now mandatory for deals

Effective since January 31, 2024, deals that don’t display a reference price are no longer eligible to be published.

When publishing deals in many product categories, you can display a strikethrough reference price in several places, including the product detail pages and search results. This helps customers see the savings that your deals offer.

Displaying the strikethrough price is now mandatory and it should display the price at which you made substantial sales of the product. If the displayed deal discount is found to be misleading, your deal may be suppressed.
