Amazon inbound and COVID

Our carrier says that Amazon warehouse will not stamp and sign the BOL due to COVID restrictions, they just shout their name to the driver and he writes it in. Now when some stock has disappeared from an inbound pallet, they won’t even investigate it without a stamped and signed BOL!

Anyone else had this issue? We have had £1k of stock disappear into the ether and even have photos of it from the fork lift being offloaded intact at Amazon warehouse but there is a brick wall from seller support with no stamp. Nothing left but to claim from the carrier but that will not get all our money back…

To put it bluntly, your carrier is talking utter rubbish.
Amazon do and MUST stamp the POD for delivery.
Without it, you have absolutely no hope of making a claim against them.

Photo’s literally mean nothing and could be photo’s of any load being delivered.
