Parcels not received at FC signed by DPD Direct Trunk

Hello

We need help regarding parcels delivered by DPD to FC.

As per tracking parcels are delivered to FC and signed by Direct Trunk which is DPD Trunk delivery.

Amazon says they have not received these parcels at FC and DPD says it has been delivered and they can not provide any further proof then tracking it self. Amazon need " roll out " manifest as POD.

It was delivered on 08/08/18 until then FC has not not located them and we are helpless what to do now !!!

Any one have similar situation earlier and idea how to resolve it, much appreciated.

It’s always difficult in such situations. Essentially, the DPD tracking shows the individual packages as having been delivered, one would imagine this means they were scanned out of the bulk delivery vehicle but this I’m not sure of. It might mean scanned into the vehicle.

The POP is for the whole delivery including other packages which could number 100s of boxes so not really much help.

In reality, Amazon are the ones that misplace packages, not DPD, but they usually turn up. Saying that, I sympathise with you that Amazon are saying they haven’t been checked-in so this means they weren’t delivered. Very poor really.

I don’t have any suggestions other than writing to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk with brief and full details of your issue and hope that someone looks into it.

It is a document which shows that the carrier has successfully delivered your shipment to our fulfillment center. Please know that even though the carrier website states that the shipment was delivered, this document is necessary for us to continue our investigation further.

I have the same issue currently with about 5 DPD shipments, all going to Tilbury, so be very careful of that FC.

Amazon are saying that Direct Trunk isn’t proof of delivery as it only shows delivery into the holding area, DPD saying that they have an agreement with Amazon to deliver to the Direct Trunk.

£1000s worth of stock missing, banging my head against a brick wall. Both sides are equally to blame as clearly they a problem with how the deliveries are made, don’t have this kind of problem with UPS.

Why choose DPD over UPS in any situation? £4.20 per 15kg can’t be more expensive than DPD
