Order delivered but customer refunded
So a customer has claimed not to receive their order and they have been issued a refund by Amazon (my account is now flagged as under risk of being deactivated because of this one refund). When checking the tracking details, I can see the item was delivered on the 25th May. Has anyone had experience with this and any idea how I can perhaps get amazon to dismiss this refund from my account? I really dont care about the money as much as I do about my reputation.

You won’t, if the customer says they didn’t receive it then Amazon believe them, seems that no matter what proof you have they did, Amazon will always side with the customer

Has the customer told you that it has now arrived ?
If they have, and are honest, then you can suggest they contact CS and ask for their card to be re-charged.
The problem is, CS usually just say not to worry and keep the item anyway, OR they say they will recharge the card bit actually never do.
You will just have to write this off.
Don’t worry about your account - they won’t deactivate your for just one refund.
Why would this affect your reputation ? - do you mean with Amazon ?
They don’t care two hoots !

I am sorry but I agree with the other posts. No matter what proof you have Amazon 99.99999 per cent of the time will side with the customer.
You can have signature proof, you can have the customer email you and tell you that they have the product in their hands and still, if they open an A to Z claim Amazon will more often than not believe the customer, refund them and put a defect on your account.
Is there a way to remove the defect ?
1, that the customer removes the claim. However, if they do have the product and also a refund, you have literally zero chance of them admitting and doing that
Sorry, the A to Z system is appalling
