When does Amazon close a return?
Sellers are no longer able to close returns on our end, so we have to wait for Amazon to close them. Amazon's return policy is 30 days after receipt (the reps don't follow this and say it's actually 30 days after latest estimate, which is not what the policy says, maybe train your reps better Amazon). Anyways, a buyer opened a return 47 days ago...the order was 57 days ago, I have been told it stays open an additional 15 days after it's open...well 47 days is 2 days past the additional 15 days. What is it Amazon? Is it 30 days after receipt, is it 30 days after the latest delivery estimate, 30 days after they open the return, 45 days after they open the return? You don't even follow your own policies. I need clarification?

It's AMAZON and they will never put something in print and even if they did they ignore their 'rules' all the time.
Don't worry about the ones that don't come back. You are never charged for a label until the buyer actually puts the item in the mail. I have had some out there for a couple months. I just ignore them because it isn't costing me anything until the stuff gets returned.
NEVER contact the 'buyer' because you might remind them they need to send it back!
