Summary of My Case With Blocked ASIN
Product: Herbal fibre drink powder (12-sachet box, pandan flavour)
Category Issue:
I originally listed the product under Food Supplements.
Amazon later blocked the ASIN, stating it should be categorised under Health & Personal Care → Drugstore.
Since then, compliance has continued to request food supplement certificates, while another Amazon team insists the ASIN is in the wrong category.
What I Have Already Provided:
✅ GMP, HACCP, ISO22000 certificates from the manufacturer
✅ Clear packaging and label photos (with UK distributor address added)
✅ Ingredient list + nutritional information
✅ Invoice from the manufacturer (I am an authorised UK distributor)
Responses From Amazon So Far:
One team says the ASIN is a “Food Supplement” and requires compliance docs.
Another team says it must be moved to gl_drugstore, which is why the ASIN remains blocked.
Every submission so far has been rejected automatically due to this conflict.
Main Problem:
The ASIN is stuck in the wrong category. Compliance docs are not being reviewed because of the misalignment.
❓What I Need Clarified:
1-How can I get this ASIN moved to Health & Personal Care (gl_drugstore) so my compliance documents can actually be reviewed?
2-Has anyone here successfully resolved a Food Supplement vs. gl_drugstore category conflict?
3-Should I delete and relist the ASIN under the correct category, or wait for Amazon’s internal team to adjust it?

I heard back from our partner team:
There are 2 different issues with ASIN. For gating issue, Seller has to Provide copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders or;
- E-Way Bills or relevant extracts of GSTR2A documents related to the invoice or;
- Authorisation letters from your supplier’s supplier issued in the last 365 days.
The seller will need to resubmit according to the notification they received or through the Account Health Dashboard with updated attribute gl_drugstore.
