Can you close off returns that were not returned within 30 days of being opened?

Hi guys,

I have quite a few old returns in my return list that were never returned and have been in the approved return state for more than 30 days.

Is it acceptable to use the “complete” item not returned option or do I need to leave them indefinitely on the system and risk a customer will return something much much much later and most likely used to death???
