Read onlyHello Amazon Forum Mods and Fellow Sellers,
I wanted to share a recent frustration I've encountered with FBA shipments. It seems that whenever one of my shipments isn't checked in alongside others delivered to the Amazon FC at the same time, it mysteriously goes missing.
This issue becomes especially frustrating when shipments take an extended time to be checked in. For instance, FBA17X41VRCN has been sitting idle for 5 weeks now.
I understand the protocol of waiting for shipments to be closed to reconcile, but I can't help but wonder: why hasn't Amazon implemented an "earlier the better" search system for FBA shipments? It seems like a simple solution to avoid these delays and discrepancies.
Hello @Seller_uEOpT16347zcv. Thanks for that feedback about your recent shipment.
I checked Shipment FBA17X41VRCN and it appears that it's currently eligible for reconciliation. Taylor on our team put together the below guide about what to do if there's an issue with delayed or missing inventory.
What to do if you have a lost or delayed FBA Shipment
Can you please give more details about your suggestion for earlier reconciliation? The receiving process takes time, and for shipments where part/all if missing or delayed, time is given for that inventory discrepancy to be resolved.
