6 months old order being allow to return and refund

Amazon just allowed a 6months old order being returned for full refund. I am very confused amazon policy in this area. Beside being a seller on amazon, we are also a regular buyer, is this means we can return the items we bought 6 months ago and expect full refund?

Amazon have advised me on occasion FBA returns can be offered up to 2 years after purchase.

Currently fighting against SS for a similar issue, refund issued after 4 months.

Seller support confirmed there was no damage to the products and were added back to inventory.
Asked for the exact reason for refund and was told that by EU law customer have 2 years to return a product. This law however only applies if the item is faulty so SS are lying to create a reason for return. So far are refusing to reveal why the items were returned.

Amazon are basically saying that their 30 day return policy isn’t worth the paper it is written on and they will bow down to the buyers every request.

After a conversation with leadership the woman on the phone had the audacity to tell me that I was not out of pocket as I had the item back. She was swiftly reminded that I have paid FBA fees, refund commission and have lost a sale. I have kept the case open and am still fighting for a full re-imbursement and suggest anyone who has had a refund issued for a non faulty product without a valid reason after 30 days do the same.

Unless sellers take a stance against Amazon’s disregard to sellers then they will continue to eat into the already wafer thin profits we make and continue to push the boundaries to see how much they can get away with.
