I understand that the GPSR requires a responsible person in the country of sale, but are there any companies or organizations that guarantee the products? I am selling Japanese products in the EU.

GSPR, I’m keen to know if anyone has started working on the new requirements, especially regarding the Responsible Person and Manufacturer details on packaging and listings. If you have insights on the next steps or know of any companies in Germany that offer Responsible Person services, please share their details. Compliance is crucial to ensure our products remain available in the EU market.

I sell a product which shows a CE marking but doesnt require one. My product is in the toy category but for ages 17+ only.

Amazon are requesting responsible person details as I reside in the UK.

I have got quotes of around £800 per month for a responsible person and when I asked what I actually get for my money they said they look after the paper work and supply it when needed.....

So it's scam prices as they literally do nothing except hold a piece of paper.

Do I actually need to go through this obvious scam to sell in Germany or can I appeal this?
