Stop amazon storing my products in Germany
I only turn over £6k in Germany but because FBA stores my products in Germany I believe I am required to have a German Vat certificate. I was wondering if there was a way to find out if amazon was stocking my items in Germany and if they are is there a way to stop them from storing in Germany? As I only make a small profit per month in Germany it would probably not be worth the accountancy fees.

If you are opted in the PAN-European FBA program, then your inventory may be stored in any of the seven countries on the list.
I am afraid that leaving the program would be the only way how to prevent the possibility of having any of your FBA units stored in German warehouses.

We had the same issues with UK: Non-PanEU, not allowed storage in UK, but products have been stored in UK anyways. Why? Because a British customer returned an FBA-article, so Amazon had it returned to the nearest warehouse and stored it there without permission, because “that is the way Amazon handles things independent from any seller-settings”. In the end, we stopped selling FBA in and to UK completely due to VAT-regulations. So I suppose this means the same to you with Germany (and also other countries with FBA-fulfillment-centers), if you do not want to VAT-register there,
