VAT validation
My vat number was rejected because my VAT registration is in my personal name, and my account on amazon was in one of my trading names
this was accepted 12 months ago by appeal, but was again rejected, i have since change the name on the amazon account to my personal name rather than a trading name, so now my account and VAT certificate match.. i have sent an email to the appeals address and not getting a response even though everything is correct
what can i do next?

Hi,
I had sort of the same Issue With my UTR letter and after not getting anywhere for weeks and weeks I sent it to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk
Where I guess a human looked at it and it was sorted within 5 days.
Not saying this will work for you but it is worth a try, and maybe they will see sense.

Can't you change it with HMRC?
It's relatively easy to update details on their website.
Once you've done that they usually send you updated details in the post as well as being accessible online.

You need to send your VAT certificate to vat-number-appeals@amazon.com
They will validate it.
