FBM winning BB -Are Amazon warehouse too busy?
Just wondering if any thoughts with FBA v FBM. Im UK amazon - I sell all FBA but theres been a drastic shift last 7 days and lost the buy box on nearly all listings to FBM eventhough my metrics are 100% 0% defects and stock constantly in FBA. my competitors are cheaper but metrics worse so are amazon now just offering BB on price? Im loathed to play that game but my sales are 50% down and biting hard and have all my stock sat FBA…One thing Ive noticed is that the FBM expected delivery date is 1 day earlier to mine on FBA - on one of my ASINS FBM has BB est arrival Thurs 24th but underneath says "willing to wait? then mine on FBA est arrival date says Sat 26- Mon 28th oct (its not in transfer its in fulfilment)
Wondering if Amazon are kicking out sales to FBM as they are too busy? - one of the FBM competitors has “just launched” and winning BB over everyone else - so Im absolutely baffled any thoughts?

Unfortunately, the BuyBox algorithm depends on multiple factors, which Amazon doesn’t reveal and there is no guarantee you will have it on any listing, even if you appear to have more advantages than any competing merchants.
Offering the lowest price is one of the most important factors and FBM sellers will be able to get the BuyBox against a FBA offer this way. Also, Seller Feedback isn’t important, as long as the ODR is good.

They changed the BB alogorithm Tuesday last week,I lost a lot of BB’s to FBM sellers I can get them back but at a much lower price difference than before.Previously I could get the BB at approx 14% over the lowest FBM sellers, since Tues its about 5% but on some 2%.Its not on all listings, noticed 2 where I am getting the BB at 25% above FBM sellers.
My delivery dates are showing Thurs,FBM are showing Fri-Mon.
