"Your item is running late" Messages

I’ve had several messages today from customers regarding messages from Amazon “your item is running late”. For whatever reason some of our Royal Mail 48 items we posted Monday are still undelivered or have only just been delivered today and had delivery estimates of yesterday, 7th October. But customers are asking for refunds as Amazon has advised them the item is running behind and may not arrive to the 12th October! Does Amazon know something I don’t or are they just pulling that date out of thin air… I’m aware if the item isn’t scanned or is sent untracked they display that message but I’ve not heard before of them giving customers updated estimated delivery dates of any extra 4 - 5 days without a logical reason.

Unfortunately these messages have been posted on buyer accounts for over a year

As a buyer, I have one of these running late messages in my Orders.

From August.

I received it 2 days after I ordered it, as expected.

As a seller I no longer get “order running late” messages.

I send all my orders by RM24 on click and drop business account with delivery confirmation.

However I tell Amazon that I’m using stamps/franking.

My VTR is 100%

Heh heh heh…

Amazon need to butt out of our business.

I’m tired of Amz customers telling me they have their item but Amz are telling them to ask for a refund just because RM have not scanned. I guess I’m lucky that they haven’t followed through!

Amazon get out of this ring!!!
