Disbursement went to closed bank account.

I have initiated a new disbursement from Amazon to my Wise account on Monday, and usually it takes 2 days to post, so it should have arrived today. But yesterday my Wise account was closed, and I don't see that disbursement amount on the statement. What will happen next to funds? Is it going back to Amazon?

I also tried to add new deposit method (I am primary account owner) but I got error "Forbidden. You do not have the rights to perform this action." I'm wondering if that's because of that 'stuck' transaction?

Has anyone faced similar issues before? What are the next steps? Any advice is much appreciated!

Hi @Seller_LkWSLRytiuE6v

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.

If the funds are rejected by your bank then the will go back to the account and will be disbursed on your next settlement period. I do see that the transaction failed on 10/30, so you will be good for the next settlement.

However the forbidden error when you try to add a bank account could be because you are not the admin of the account. Make sure you are logged in with the main account credentials, I mirrored it on my end and it does work.

Once you are logged in, look in the disbursements tab:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/payments/allstatements/index.html?ref_=xx_disbmt_ttab_dash

That shows the failed transaction.

Let me know if you are still experiencing issues,

Connor

Soo finally I was able to discover that my account changes were blocked because I have a loan with an Amazon partner. I contacted them and they unlocked my account so I was able to make changes.

There was no information provided about this, and I only found out by searching forum for discussions with similar issues. For anyone who faces similar issue of not being able to change your deposit methods being the admin of account - check that too!

I hope support and community managers are now aware of this, so they can share helpful advice with other sellers in the future! 😊
