Edit Listing, Issues?

Go to Edit a listing, make a change, then it validates, you click on Save and Finish.

Usually that says 'done' and you wait 15mins or more and chek, and the changes may be made.

BUT, now, it is not saying 'done' and just goes back to Save and Finish - showing the listing page still

Others having the same problem?

I do sometimes find you need to click on Save and Finish a couple of times, and going back too quickly the change hasn't sometimes happened - can take a while.

Something has obviously gone wrong.

As you say, after pressing 'Save and Finish' the usual confirmation no longer appears. The edits do seem to be going through but it does not inspire confidence..

More generally, editing inventory has been incredibly slow since the last major update (a year or so ago?)..

Even opening the inventory list is slow and the whole page does not load at once.

It feels like the data is being sent back and forth to and from a laggy server on the other side of the world.

It's still not sorted (I'm using Firefox).

I think the updates are going through but the lack of confirmation is not good.

I contacted Seller support and after a tortuous journey I eventually received this reply

I have reviewed and found that currently there is no such error, please clear cache, cookies & history and use the Firefox browser (recommended) and confirm id still the same issue persistes

Apart from finding out that Vishnu does not know how to spell "persists" I'm not certain I am any further forward.

Is he saying we have to use Firefox.?

I've never cleared cache, cookies & history . Is it something complicated and is it likely to affect other things on my computer?

I am extremely disappointed that amazon did not tell us about the problem in the first place and now have not told us that it is fixed.
