Overselling FBA Stock

Noticed the last couple of days two of my ASINs have been selling even though I have 0 units available and 3/4 units on FC Processing, Each ASIN has had 10+ sales this week, none of which have been cancelled.

For those who use SellerAmp, their software reports that I have 44 units of one of the ASINs which is impossible. I have to too drastically increase the prices to avoid selling any more units that would just be sat pending for weeks.

Do you have any stock on the way into FBA, sometimes if you have stock on the way in they will sell this with longer delivery dates. This is a perfectly normal part of FBA.

If you don't and Amazon are overselling it is not really your problem and I wouldn't spend any time worrying about. Whilst annoying it won't impact your account.

Any cancellations for FBA order do not impact your metrics. I don't believe negative feedback can be left for cancelled Amazon orders but even if it can be it should be struck through.

Hi @Seller_KfOr1s8baw8Zi

First, I recommend checking your Manage FBA Inventory page and Manage FBA Shipments to verify the exact status of your FC Processing units. Sometimes units can appear available to customers even during the transfer process.

For the SellerAmp discrepancy, this could be due to their system pulling cached data from Amazon's API. I suggest refreshing your SellerAmp connection and comparing it with your Seller Central inventory numbers.

To prevent further overselling while this is being resolved, your temporary price increase was a good immediate solution. However, you may also want to consider setting maximum order quantities or temporarily suspending the listings until your FC processing units are received.

If the issue persists, please contact Seller Support directly through your Seller Central account. They can investigate the inventory discrepancy and help reconcile your actual stock levels.

Christine.
