Drop shippers on eBay / Amazon

Just wanted to ask the question, we sell items that are only sold by us, yet are available from other sellers on eBay and Amazon, decided to do a couple of test purchases from these sellers, to see if they are copying the designs or purchasing from me and drop shipping. Sure enough I’ve had several orders from Amazon and eBay for the same items to be posted to my home address. Now the drop shippers are now complaining that they haven’t received the goods and want a full refund.
Is there any way of stopping this, I’ve made a complaint to eBay but nothing has been done and I’m currently contact Amazon about the same thing.

I’ve replied to the complaints from the drop shippers mentioning that I ordered the goods under a different name and that I want the listing removed and no refund will be made, but not one listing has been taken down.

A sales a sale. Take the money and run. Too many people worry about drop shippers. Why?

I have a drop shipper using my site. Over 62 orders placed at no discount. More please.

Interesting that they have claimed INR.

Have you complained to them about not receiving the orders which you placed?

Personally, I have some dropshippers who are placing orders from my stores. However, I am letting them be, without doing any test orders or asking them to remove listings.

I never experienced any issues.

Drop-shippers are a blessing. Why worry?

Send them an email stating that you have recieved the goods on which they are claiming INR. Tell them that you are not happy about this and what they have done is an act of fraud. Tell them they have two options.

  1. They can remove their listings and stop selling your products voluntarily, or

  2. You will report them to Action Fraud, Royal Mail, and ebay/Amazon.

Be polite but firm. The ball is now in their court.

Ive no issues with genuine dropshipers, if they can sell my product for more- well for them, sale is a sale, I do sometimes order stuff from someone else in case of the stock error, its the scammers that is an issue

Are they requesting a refund for the ones you sent to yourself? in THAT case you have a really strong fraud case to talk to Amazon / Ebay about. If you want to PM me the buyer names as we are not allowed to name and shame here, then i will cross reference with my database of bad apples…

We do not tolerate dropshippers and will stamp on them hard. Every dropshipper we had buy through us has at one time or another claimed an INR and as I am the one responsible for all customer contact in our company, im the one that gets the grief so We cancel every dropshipping order that we catch.

I have a couple of drop shippers selling on eBay and buying from me on Amazon. So far, no issues, been going on few about 3 months, no INR claims. So, let them carry on as I get the order, so no difference than selling to the consumer.

I did message them on a few occasions, stating we are aware they are drop shippers and be nice to leave us seller feedback. Not one response.

If working, then carry on. But you have caught them in the act. This is fraud and report to the police anti cyber fraud unit.
