Why is Amazon so pathetically slow at responding to requests?

I requested a review of the category that a model car was put in.

Amazon clarify it as a toy, which it is NOT, it is on a display stand.

They took so long and are still stalling, that i missed selling at Christmas.

I have about 100 to sell and this has been a costly exercise!

Now that the Christmas ban is no longer in force (new seller), I am still blocked by Amazon yet Amazon Customer help cannot see why and a POWERLESS to help!! PATHETIC. 3 MONTHS so far!

AMAZON buck up your ideas!!!

I have also applied to sell in the groceries section, and heard NOTHING from them.

They really do treat sellers like dirt!!!

In answer to the thread title, the latest theory about Amazon seller support is that it’s a cross between the PG Tips chimps and a Madhatter’s Tea Party. I believe both these notions are very close to the mark - and what we’re probably looking at is actually a chimpanzee tea party like you’d see in a zoo.

Of course this is very unfair on chimpanzees. Generally speaking chimpanzees don’t threaten people, take their money, or collude with crooks. And in some ways they’re better than Amazon to communicate with. Although neither chimps or seller support make any sense when you ask them a question, at least with the chimps you don’t have to wait three months.

Amazon are always very keen to “reach out” to various people. Fortunately with a chimpanzee you can just give them a banana when they reach out, whereas with Amazon it probably means you’re about to be suspended.
