Hijacked listing
Hi all,
I made this listing a few years a go, another seller jumped on it and started wrecking the price/profit.
Now for some reason I can’t sell it without approval as this particular seller has done something to it, I have since bought barcodes through GS1 for all of my products as I sell loose hardware and they don’t come with any.
The annoying thing is, is that I created the listing added images which I took myself, paid advertising costs through Amazon to rank it up and now I can’t even sell it anymore. The images on the listing are of my bathroom showing the product in use.
Probably nothing I can do here but it’s frustrating as it did sell really well for me.
ASIN: B096H9SBFD
This is what I get when I try and add myself back in to the listing;
Transparency-enabled products have a bar code containing a serial number applied to the product packaging by the manufacturer. These codes can be available in the following formats:
-
A 26-digit, alpha-numeric identifier beginning with AZ or ZA (e.g. AZ:L1Z2H38F4C5Q6R7E5K6Z1C2K3E; total length of 29 characters). This will be in the form of a 2D bar code with a ‘T’ logo near it.
-
A Serialised Global Trade Item Number or SGTIN (e.g. 0100376204200301214P10ZMT7D8B81EMF4WW3; total length of 38 characters). This will be in the form of a 2D bar code with a ‘T’ logo near it.
If you cannot find a 2D bar code with a ‘T’ logo, look for a serial number bar code that is 7–20 characters in length. The serial number can be a 1D or 2D code and will likely include the prefix ‘SN’. The serial number will be applied to the same side of the packaging as the GTIN (UPC/EAN/ISBN) bar code. You are required to confirm that you have serial number bar codes on the products you are trying to list on Amazon through this application process.
Will you ensure that any inventory you deliver to FBA for this ASIN will have Transparency serial number bar codes on them?
Any way thanks all.

The listing has been taken over Valdern ltd who have branded it as their own
Presumably it was originally generic or your storename with no brand registry ?
Are you registered on GS1 as owning the barcode ? According to gs1 its owned by Kiely Rowan Plc - is that you ?
If so, you maybe able to fix it. If not, unfortunately you’ve lost the listing and new seller is BR with transparency barcodes
