Please help - no UPS tracking number for full pallet delivery!

I am caught in a circle and don’t know how to resolve it.

A full pallet was sent from our warehouse to Amazon as part of FBA preferred carrier programme using UPS UK. Now the shipment has been received and closed, half the inventory is missing.

I have launched a query and Amazon require the signed Bill of Lading to validate the claim. To get the BoL, I need the UPS tracking number, but for full pallets, no tracking number is issued in the Ship to Amazon process.

I have all the info from the blank BoL, the ARN, the Amazon purchase order number etc, but when I contact UPS, they say that they cannot trace a shipment without a tracking number.

I ask Amazon, they say that they don’t have access to UPS numbers, and UPS say that they don’t have tracking from Amazon numbers.

How is it that I can’t track a shipment when the service is arranged directly between Amazon and UPS??

Can anybody help me to escape this circle of despair!?

Are you sure that your not just confusing tracking number, with a different name?
There must be some sort of reference number on the shipment, that will be your tracking number.
As a rule, pallet shipments are referenced differently.

How did you arrange collection without any reference?

You will need to contact UPS and request that they set up a lots account for you.

This might take a couple of days but you should then be able to track your shipments and access your POD.
