Listing bullets and product description disappeared
Yesterday when I tried to update my selling price on a few asins I lost both the product descriptions and bullet points (how strange).
When trying to edit the Asins via the manage inventory>edit route I could clearly see the bullets and product description under the ‘description’ header.
I then used the self service tool and got the following message for all of the individual asins;
Your listing’s ASIN is missing the ‘Item Type Keyword’ attribute.
- Go to [Manage Inventory] to edit your listing, and then click on ‘More Details’ tab to edit your ‘Item Type Keyword’.
Now for one of the asins this option isn’t there although something similar exists ‘item type name’ which I updated with no avail.
When contacting seller support all they have said is to submit an upload file with missing attributes (partial update), which I have done and no change.
Anyone here had the same issue, its driving me nuts!

I have the same issue. I have tried to update the listing several times to make sure it is showing and no luck. I was paying for advertising, i was getting click throughs and no sale. only to see that my bullet points and product descriptions have disappeared on the listing. It is clear that is the issue.

Ok, multiple cases opened with seller central and 10 days later my listing is back alive. I did the upload, but turned out there was a category issue on their end. Never got round to fully understanding what the issue was and have to pray this doesnt happen again

The seller application link is to be used for the non owners of the brand. Two ways about this to make sure seller central know what to do (sadly we have to inform them); you can try and do a partial upload using an inventory file and you should get an error back saying u can’t make changes to this brand or try and list a new asin under your brand should give u the same result.
