Using click and drop for BPL postage and VTR issues

Does anyone know whether we can still use Royal Mail Click & Drop BPL (2nd Class Large Letter) on Amazon without it causing VTR issues?

With the latest postage increases, using Amazon Buy Shipping RM48 is becoming really expensive, and I’d love to switch back to the same setup we use on every other platform with no problems.

I tested 2nd Class LL directly on Amazon, but the labels printed strangely and didn’t include a Delivery Confirmation ID. Ideally, I’d prefer to use Click & Drop instead, but I’m worried it’s no longer compatible with Amazon’s VTR requirements.

Is anyone here still using BPL via Click & Drop for Amazon orders?

Have you run into any VTR problems, or is it still working for you?

I am having the same issue. i am a new seller and there is no way I could afford expensive labels from Amazon. I am using Click and drop BPL2 which is large letter and it confirms delivery but noticed all my items over 30 are now hitting VTR as these were not picked up by Amazon tracking system. I am stuck I have logged multiple cases with Amazon but to no avail. Is there any way I can use this service which shows tracking Please help!

As far as I know, you can't use BPL through Click and Drop anymore while satisfying the VTR requirement.

If the service has a delivery confirmation then you're now supposed to meet the 95% for VTR with it, which you won't be able to do based on RM's scan rate. You can get around this by using Buy Shipping. That said, I don't know if they're actually enforcing this, but the change was brought in to the policy.

For any completely untracked service, you're supposed to use Buy Shipping.

We are also beginning to encounter this issue, as a small percentage (5%) of our products are of very low value and do not warrant a high premium for fully insured, tracked service.

Amazon's requirement for all sellers to use a fully tracked service appears to be anti-competitive.

We might stick to promoting our lower-priced products on eBay and other e-commerce platforms that do not demand the shipping options. It is no surprise TEMU has been able to damage Amazon sales worldwide with low-value products.
