1 Star Rating but no comments or reviews
Good morning. I began using FBA a few months ago, and the early signs have been promising. I’ve noticed that reviews aren’t easy to come by, but I was happy with the three 5-star ratings on one of my products. However, the rating has now dropped to 3.7 due to a 1-star review with no comments.
Is this a verified rating? Nothing is showing in my account that I can see. If anyone could advise on where to see this in my account or how to go about getting this removed. I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance

Ratings without a written review are generally left by customers who have been asked to leave a rating via an Echo/Alexa device. It is I believe likely to be linked to a purchase - though it won't appear as such on amazon.
You won't get it removed.

Have you considered the Vine programme at all? £140 for 30 guaranteed ratings (not guaranteed 5* however)

This is not guaranteed as some reviewers (worst case = all) may not leave a review.
Also, although the £140 cost you mentioned is correct, this is just an enrolment fee. Sellers should be aware that each free vine sample that is sent to a reviewer will have the FBA and referral fee added.

Probably not a buyer, very often competitors just leave 1 star ratings on the competition's listings (usually, but not always, without a review). I have around 7000 listings, many that I have never sold even once, but when I look back, to see if I can find a problem with the listing, it has a 1 star rating, sometimes this happens immediately after the listing is made (pretty much destroying the listing). To leave ratings/reviews on listings on Amazon, you do not need to have purchased that item. Very likely, the only online selling platform in the world, where anyone can leave a review for something they may never have owned. It is complete madness and the only people benefitting from this system are dishonest sellers.
