SKU Code on each item?
Hi guys quick question.
If I have 100 identical products, do I buy an SKU and place this code on all 100 items?
Or do I send to Amazon and they place it on the item once its reached their fulfillment centre?
If I then introduced a different product (different flavour etc) I would purchase another SKU and repeat process?
Thank you

Do you mean SKU, FNSKU or EAN/UPC number?
SKU is your own made up code that can be anything you want. You dont ‘buy’ them. Its just an internal stock code for yourself.
FNSKU is a label telling Amazon what the item is. You either print these beforehand and attach yourself or you can get Amazon to do for 15p per label
EAN/UPC numbers do have to be bought from GS1 and you need a different one per product per variation (unless you have applied for exemption). These need to be fixed to the product before sending to Amazon. To be clear - If you have 100 identical products in every way, then you only need the 1 EAN number but it should be on each one.
