Vat services on Amazon still have not made my German return for 2020 despite being subscribed to the service during that period. The German authorities wrote me a letter warning of a potential EUR25,000 fine for not submitting and I have asked both Avalara and Amazon VAT services seller support portal if they are responsible for this return and no one has answered the question, only said for weeks now it is being looked into.
Phoned Avalara, they told me I had to file a support ticket with Amazon.
Worst service I have ever used, my advice is get an accountant that you can get hold of, all VAT services on Amazon does is compile the sales spreadsheet, all liability and responsibility for filing still gets pushed to the seller at the end of the day.

First they lure you in, then they hike up the price.
And when you ask a question or a simple question from the tax authorities needs to be answered = 600 euro fee.
With Brexit I stopped selling in the UK, and VAT is also charged by Amazon now. Still need to pay all the fees. Looking to deregister next year, I have not yet looked into it if it is possible but it probably is going to cost me a lot of money.

Not good for small sellers, we are not VAT registered in the UK, but will have to stop selling outside the UK, Amazon fees take a lot of our margin already and if paying also £30 a month for each EU country will make listing our few items un economical

Have literally not seen a single person post anything positive about these offered ‘services’ and I can not imagine ever handing something this important to any service tha is related with Amazon.
Honestly gives me chills every time I read some bad experience with this service and especially so when Avalara forwards these people back to Amazon Seller Support!!
