IOSS number on a B2B order
Maybe I’m getting this wrong - I thought IOSS would apply to B2C, under 150 Eur.
But we have The IOSS notification, and an IOSS number displayed for an order to Germany which is marked as a business customer - is this happening for anyone else?
Playing games with tax being paid doesn’t sound…ideal…so I don’t want to get this order wrong.

I think there’s a problem there. Like you, I was pretty convinced that the IOSS numbers are only applicable for B2C orders.

Also spotted this with B2B customers “hiding” as B2C. We have no FBM B2B offers, any Amazon customer with a valid EU VAT number bypasses iOSS and becomes a B2B sale. We cannot send the orders as the customers will be charged VAT upon receipt in the EU and this is agaisnt TOS. With order values of €9 we also cannot send it DDP at a cost of £5. Only option is to cancel the orders, but getting 3-4 a day

That will because their VAT number is not validated by VIES. We had similar orders and are just iOSS standard orders as a result
