VTR help needed urgently please

Hello

Please can someone help me before I go completely mad! I know this topic has been covered before and I’ve gone through as many as I can but I’m doing everything suggested.

I have been selling on Amazon since December 2021 and use Royal Mail Click and Drop 48hr small parcel (non tracked) for all my items. I put the barcode ID in for every parcel dispatched but it isn’t impacting on my VTR as it is still 0%.

I had my listings suspended yesterday and reactivated again. My plan of action was stating what I’m already doing.

I have spoken to Royal Mail who say that I am doing absolutely everything I should be doing - I am following Amazon’s guidelines to the letter but still my VTR is 0. I understand that not every single item will get scanned on delivery but I’m sending about 20 parcels a day so I definitely should have some. A senior IT manager at Royal Mail has suggested that the problem is at Amazon’s end! In the last 2 weeks I have tried using ‘Buy shipping from Amazon’ and then having Royal Mail mark my items as dispatched direct from my account but nothing is impacting on my VTR.

So I have opened 3 case logs and set everything out clearly but I keep getting the same standard reponse about why they use VTR and to put the RM barcode ID number in so I’m going round in circles.

I don’t have an OBA but Royal Mail have basically said the process is exactly the same so it wouldn’t necessarily make a difference to me.

Is there an email address or UK phone number that I can speak to a person who might look into this issue for me as the standard reply isn’t helping me now that I’ve received it 3 times.

Please can someone help me - I appreciate I’m fairly new to selling on Amazon and thought I might be doing something wrong but Royal Mail checked my account and the barcode is correct that I’m putting in.

Thank you in advance.

Linda

Hi,

Out of curiosity, did you lose the buy box on your listings?

You will not notice any change after only 2 weeks as the VTR calculation is retrospective, based on the delivery date of your shipments, and so can take up to 6 weeks before your VTR will be fully resolved.

Are you copy and pasting them ? - because I am sure I have read on here that does not work.

So no access to code CRL ?

A solution but not the best is to disconnect click and drop from amazon so that it does not update amazon but you still get the orders through to click and drop. Process as normal and anything that is not sent tracked come back into amazon and click send via stamps or franking. Anything that is sent tracked manually enter the code that royal mail provides (some say you have to type it in but copy and paste works for me without an issue).

Improving your VTR this will not happen overnight as you have about 6weeks of what amazon considers to be errors and they only fall off the conveyour belt after about 6 weeks (meant to be rolling 30 days but they also allow 2 weeks for delivery notisfications)

We had ours hit earlier this year and have now managed to get back to 85% as still have some from end of december on our list of naughties.

Hope you get it all sorted.
