Rebranding from generic to private label
Hello good afternoon, I want to make a query to see if someone can help me. A few months ago I started selling a product under the generic brand but now I want to move this product to a private label. I was told that I have to create a new listing under the new brand, but the problem is that I still have enough inventory in the listing under the generic brand.
How do I transfer the inventory from one listing to another?
I am asking this because the product at the time of purchase was made under the private brand, but due to a paperwork issue I could not assign it to the listing and I had to create it under the generic brand.
Thank you very much and I hope someone can help me with this case.

That is correct.
And this generic listing shows your BRANDED product? That was against the generic policy.
You have to create a removal order (to you or to an US prep center), print the NEW FNSKU of the NEW listing and stick it over the old FNSKU. Then you create a new shipping plan and send in again.
Amazon will send back the units in batches and this can take weeks and months.

Just replying here to thank and underscore Brigitte's post above. There is no way to migrate generic to branded inventory without a removal as inherently they should not be the same listing.
