Custom image is mandatory for Sponsored Brand Ads after May 31

Existing product collection ads that do not contain a custom image will cease serving after May 31, 2024. If you have active Sponsored Brands product collection ads that currently only feature product images, it’s crucial to add a custom image by May 31, 2024.

What constitutes a custom Image?

Essentially, not one that is automatically pulled from the products primary image.

You would need to upload an image. Amazon I imagine expect you to use some sort of lifestyle image of the product being used, though I imagine you could still take the primary product images, download them and then simply upload them as custom images.
