VAT Number Verification - 10 Day Wait!?
I've been selling on Amazon for a while. I rely on a large portion of my business to come through Amazon sales. I have over 500 items stored in FBA. I recently became VAT registered so I updated this information on Amazon. The day after, my account has been suspended due to the address being different. I have since updated this as my business address is different to my residential address. Amazon support also informed me that the company name has to match exactly including "Ltd." So I have added Ltd. to my business name on Amazon.
The submission page then says there could be up to 10 days wait for verification! This cannot be correct? It cannot take 10 days to see that my address and company name is correct. My business will be out of Amazon sales for potentially 10 days! This seems ridiculous. I have no other issues with my account, I just simply had to update my address and business name to add "Ltd" at the end, which does seem a bit silly as the name is identical apart from adding Ltd at the end.
It can't possibly take this long to sort out a simple address/name change?

there will be thousands of others waiting to be verified- you are in a long queue. Another seller on here is reporting still waiting after 3 months.

FALSE ALARM. Only ended up taking a couple of days. I'm back online now.
